Yobukan Karate Club Tournament Date: Saturday, May 30, 2026 @ 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Set up Saturday, May 30, 2026 @ 8:00 AM

• Tournament start time is 9:00 AM sharp – Registration begins at 8:45 AM

Location: Landing Trail School, 5301 37 Avenue, Gibbons, Alberta T0A 1N0

Deadline for clubs to register is May 15. Come to the Dojo to fill out an individual registration form before then.

Waiver: Please ensure all competitors have completed and signed the waiver found on the enclosed Registration Form and submit at the tournament. (please DO NOT include in e-mail documents)

Entry Fees:

• $35.00/person – Single Event (i.e., Kata or Bogu Kumite/Flag Kumite or Team Kata)

• $55.00/person – Two Events (i.e., Kata/Bogu Kumite or Kata/Team Kata

• $60.00/person – Three Events or More (not including Team Kata)

 Note: The tournament fees are being used as a fundraiser for the Yobukan Karate Parents Association

Lunch is included. Please have students advise of allergies upon Registration.

Kumite competitors must provide their own fist protectors, mouth guards and groin cups. Karate uniform must comply to the guidelines set out in this package.

Flags and Bogu will be supplied at the tournament.

If other dojos have their own bogu, please bring it as well.
